Terms of Use
Effective September 26, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Veytraq. By using Veytraq, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Veytraq
Veytraq provides ocean shipment tracking and related information for containers, Bills of Lading, vessels, routes, schedules, estimated arrival information, and shipment milestones. Veytraq may organize information from multiple sources into a clearer tracking experience.
2. Shipment information
Shipment information may come from carriers, vessel information services, schedules, ports, terminals, and other relevant sources. Carrier-confirmed shipment events are treated as the primary evidence for actual container movements.
Vessel position or AIS information describes a vessel and does not, by itself, prove that a specific container is onboard, discharged, gated out, or delivered.
3. Accuracy and availability
Veytraq aims to present shipment information clearly and accurately, but shipping information can change and third-party sources may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect.
Veytraq does not guarantee that every shipment or carrier can be tracked, all shipment information will be complete or current, estimated arrival times will be accurate, third-party information will always be available, or the service will operate without interruption or error.
For important operational decisions, users should confirm information with the relevant carrier, terminal, freight forwarder, customs broker, port, or other authoritative party.
4. Estimates and interpreted information
Some information displayed by Veytraq may be estimated, calculated, interpreted, or derived from available shipment and vessel information. This may include route progress, estimated arrival information, vessel context, and other status interpretations.
Such information is provided for informational purposes and should not be treated as a contractual shipping or delivery commitment.
5. Your use of Veytraq
You may use Veytraq for lawful shipment tracking and related purposes. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software or harmful content, use the service for unlawful purposes, intentionally overload or abuse the service, bypass security controls, or use automated methods in a way that materially disrupts the service.
6. Shipment references and uploaded documents
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit any shipment reference, document, image, or other information you provide to Veytraq. You should avoid submitting confidential, personal, or commercially sensitive information that is not necessary for the requested tracking functionality.
7. Third-party services and information
Veytraq may rely on third-party services and information providers to operate parts of the service. These may include infrastructure providers and sources of shipment, vessel, route, schedule, or related information.
Veytraq does not control those third parties and cannot guarantee the accuracy, availability, or continued operation of their services.
8. Intellectual property
The Veytraq name, branding, interface, software, design, and original content are owned by or licensed to Veytraq, except for third-party information, trademarks, and materials belonging to their respective owners.
Using Veytraq does not transfer ownership of any Veytraq intellectual property to you. Except where permitted by law, you may not reproduce, resell, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer protected parts of the service without authorization.
9. Changes to the service
Veytraq may add, modify, remove, suspend, or discontinue features as the platform develops. We may also change how information is displayed or processed as we improve the service.
10. No professional advice
Veytraq provides shipment information and technology services. Information shown through Veytraq does not constitute legal, customs, tax, insurance, financial, logistics, or other professional advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veytraq will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar losses resulting from use of or inability to use Veytraq; reliance on shipment or vessel information; inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or unavailable third-party information; changes to shipment schedules, routes, or estimated arrival times; or service interruptions or technical failures.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
12. Privacy
Use of Veytraq is also subject to the Veytraq Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, processed, and retained.
13. Suspension or restriction of access
Veytraq may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users, investigate suspected misuse, prevent security threats, comply with legal requirements, or address violations of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as Veytraq develops or as legal and operational requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your country or region.
